Need assessment in the form of a birth plan or introductory meeting will be held. Before starting my service, verbal and/or written contracts will be conducted. Payment info will be collected by the time a contract is signed. Then the first payment (retainer) will be charged before I begin my service. The second half of the payment will be collected half way of my service completion. Clients may create several payment plans (although it will be at Val’s discretion). Please note that each service I offer has different workflows and administrative process. Refer to the respective contract for more information or reach out to chaca_4992@outlook.com.

1. Why do some services not have prices listed?

Pricing depends on the grant amount, percent effort, expertise needed, Managed Care Organizations payment policy, market price, and more.

2. Can I cancel the service? Will a refund be provided?

Depending on the type of service, you can request cancelation. However, most services can be canceled up to 1 day prior to the session for no charge. For any cancellation in less than 24 hours, you will be charged 30% of the full service fee. 
3. Will I have to pay a no-show fee?

Yes, it will be 30% of the full service fee.

4. What if I can't pay you on-time?

Always communicate that to avoid a debt collection agency. We may be able to customize the payment into several chunks. 

5. What is the 3.5% service fee for?

It is a processing fee that is required by the payment platform.

6. What is the reschedule and late booking policy?

Clients can reschedule and book service 12 hours before the service time as long as Val is available.

7. Will there be a refund for unsuccessful projects or miscarriage?

Val values accountability and transparency. However, in some cases (e.g., spontaneous abortion in early term pregnancy) Val may be able to provide a partial refund. Prompt communication with Val is appreciated. 

8. If I pay you late will there be an additional fee? 

A late fee of 30% will be charged for payment made past the invoice due date. 

9. Are you vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza virus?

I am current on my vaccinations as it is a way to prevent diseases transmission. 

10. Do you have exposure to allergens that potentially triggers my health conditions?

Yes, I live with pets and occasionally am exposed to scents that may exacerbate skin conditions. Please coordinate with Val ahead of time about allergies or health conditions so we can come up with practical solutions.
